Hi all! I’m linking up with Sugar and Spice for Wordless Wednesday which just happens to also be a giveaway! I’ve posted my newest TPT item in my store, and would love to give it away to someone for free! You can check out my post about it here.
I’m also linking up with Kinder Gals for Workin’ on it Wednesday! As you can see below, I have braved my classroom library. This may take a while, but I am hopeful that I can reorganize my books! How do you organize your classroom library?
I hope you enjoy the giveaway!

Hi Rachael! Thanks, you too! How do you organize your library? Is it leveled or by theme?
Thanks for stopping by!

I've sorted all of my books into genres I think I'll be able to make a book box for. I got rid of a ton of books that were extremely worn or way too high a level for first graders. I'm waiting to get a few more boxes of donated books from Half Price Books, then I'll see if any stacks need to be adjusted. I'm doing 2/3 of my library organized by genre (animal fiction, realistic fiction, Disney, etc.) and then 1/3 will be leveled. I didn't want to level the whole thing because A. it would take forever and B. nowhere else in the world are books arranged by levels. Hope this helps! 🙂

Gina, This Busy Bee product is TOO cute! I would love to have this for my ADHD friends and see if it helps them to stay on task! Hehe… Good luck on your classroom library! I would show you mine, but I don't have a picture, and it's pretty small (As a resource teacher, I am slowly but surely collecting more books a few at a time). Since I don't have many, I organize them in bins by genre. I teach all grades, so it's impossible for me to level them all. I'm excited to read your blog in the future now that I am your newest follower!

My books are sorted by theme which works great for me. I have over 900 & was frequently forgetting what I owned. Shopping often at Goodwill & yard sales is how I accumulated most of them. Took awhile to get this done but I have an app on my phone called Book Catalogue that keeps an inventory for you. You simply scan the ISBN code on the book and it sorts them into your categories. Now when I'm shopping I can easily look it up to see if I already own the book.
