Real talk: No one wants to miss out on the 100th day of school. But if you HAVE to be virtual and can’t celebrate in person with your students, don’t panic. I’ve got you covered with 5 virtual 100th day of school ideas for kindergarten.
1. Count to 100 Video
This original Jack Hartmann count to 100 video is my absolute favorite. Your students will love “working out” while counting to 100, and you will too!
2. Virtual Read Aloud
There are so many great 100th Day virtual read alouds. One of my favorites is 100th Day Worries. Share your screen with your students and listen to the story!
3. 100th Day Collections
Sharing our 100th day collections in school is always one of my favorite parts of our day. Your students can share their collections of one hundred items virtually too!
4. Want/Don’t Want
What do you want 100 of? What do you not want 100 of? Either have students draw a picture of something they want 100 of and something do not want 100 of and share with the class.. or just have them take turns sharing their ideas!
5. 100th Day Choice Board
There are so many activities your students can do at home for the 100th day of school, so let them choose! Share this digital choice board with your students and let them choose the activities they want to complete. When they’re finished, they will send you a picture and show you what they created!
