Yesterday, I had a giveaway on my Facebook page for my newest product. Well, for the rest of the week, Let’s Make an Apple Pie: Combinations for Numbers to 10 will be on sale for 20% off!
In a real-world situation, students will learn how numbers can be made of different combinations. Students are prompted to make their own recipes for baking apple pie using a given number of apples. With a hands-on approach, students will shake and dump two-colored apple cards to discover what combinations they can use.
I am using this activity during my guided math groups today and can’t wait to share how it goes! My students LOVE hands-on learning and I am sure they will love this!
