Happy 4th of July everyone! I’m going to squeeze a quick Five for Friday post in here while eating my oatmeal before I go nanny! Hop on over to Doodle Bugs to see what other bloggers have written about today!
I am most excited about #3. I went back into my classroom this past week to start tackling my classroom library, and I was THRILLED to see my two bulletin boards hanging there! This past year, I did not have a bulletin board behind my guided reading table, so I created one using bulletin board paper, LOTS OF TAPE, and cute borders. Well, my lovely custodians were able to locate two smaller boards that could be put together to create one, and now I will be able to easily remove and add things all year long! I am one happy teacher!
I have been working on some new TPT products! The first one, Walk Like a Pirate, is a FREEBIE! It’s based on the book Edward and the Pirates by David McPhail, and is all about teaching rules and procedures for the hallway. My kinders loved pretending to be pirates and going on a treasure hunt around the school. This product provides the information for the treasure hunt and a culminating activity! Click the picture below to check it out on TPT!
The second new product in my TPT store is Rainbow Writing. This product is a tried and true favorite of my kinders AND the first graders next door to me! Students will practice correctly forming each letter of the alphabet using all the colors of the rainbow. This repeated practice helps to increase their muscle memory in a fun way!

Glad you were able to get your bulletin board, I'd be lost without mine!

My older sister and I use to go to wrestling matches quite frequently HOWEVER… I did not scream and shout. 🙂 I'm too shy to have behaved that way!
