B2S Survival Box & A FREEBIE for YOU!

Hi friends! Wow, it’s been a LONG time since I’ve blogged, but I promise I have a good excuse! Over the summer, due to low enrollment, I was moved to a different school within my district. I knew this was most likely going to happen at the end of the school year, but I was still holding onto hope. Nothing was final until August, and I knew that enrollment would keep climbing. Unfortunately for me, it didn’t climb enough, so off to my new school I went {oh yeah, and off to a new HOUSE, too! Talk about a summer of moving!}.

Here I was, sitting in my car outside my new school and TERRIFIED to go in! I knew that ultimately, my room would come together, everyone would be nice and inviting, and I would have a great year. Still, in the back of my mind, I couldn’t help missing my old school family and my old room! {I promise, I only cried a little!} The first day in my new room, I got nothing accomplished. I moved piles around, got rid of some things that the other teacher left, and then decided I was going home {with a few more tears}. So, when I got home to a package from Destiny, it could not have been more perfect timing!

Seriously, as I opened up my package, I could not stop the HAPPY tears from flowing. After a completely overwhelming day, this was exactly what I needed. 

Destiny literally thought of everything. I mean, look at all the stuff inside this little box! Colorful pens, an adorable water bottle, pads, notebooks, a clipboard, post-its, hand sanitizer, tiny thank you cards, a key ring, a Target gift card, Chicken Soup Teacher Tales, and the cutest little napkins I’ve ever seen! I’ve never met Destiny in real life, but this small act of kindness meant the world to me. Just knowing that someone was thinking about me made me feel like I could handle this new adventure. I cannot thank her enough! This Back to School Survival Box exchange was such a wonderful, rejuvenating experience and I can’t wait till the next one!
