I had a class of students that I couldn’t manage, and I was ready to throw in the towel.
I see so many teachers who feel drained, defeated, and exhausted from managing disruptive behaviors all day, and I know the feeling all too well.
Teachers are leaving the profession in droves because they’re getting burnt out by difficult behaviors.
I know how you feel. You’ve tried every strategy in your bag of tricks, and nothing works. You hardly get any support, and the support you do get is a short term fix that’s focused on control and compliance.
How do I know all this?
Because I’ve been there.
My journey with behavior management started with me ugly crying in a supply closet.
I had a trio of students who would run around the classroom, throwing things at others. They would have meltdowns that would cause us to evacuate the other students from the classroom. I was hit, kicked, bit, spit at, and watched the classroom that I spent so many hours making an inviting space get destroyed in just a few moments.
I felt inadequate and ineffective.
I realized that something had to change. Since then, it’s been my mission to learn all I can about classroom and behavior management and help other teachers have more time and energy for the rest of their students. I know how to take a chaotic classroom and make it a calm space and change challenging behavior without triaging or putting band-aids on problems.
And I want to share it with the world, starting with you.
Are you ready to revolutionize behavior management?
It can feel like there’s no hope left, but I’m here to help!
